This is the project page of the Lossless Videogamemusic Collection
Also known as Lossless VGM Archive
This is an attempt to get together in a lossless FLAC collection as many old and new VGM albums as possible.
There are over 2500 albums, a lot of them aren't avaiable online anywhere else, a lot only in old 128 kb/s mp3 files. There is nearly no chance of a "complete" or "up to date" set. To hunt down 20 year old albums we would need a lot of people worldwide involved and money for it too. But in less than 2 months it was possible for me to "find" alone more than 180 official soundtracks plus a lot other albums in lossless quality. I ripped only 7 albums by myself, the rest is from other people. About 25% of the albums are from other UG users, I hope that percentage will raise over time.
